This is a PDF of a scanned copy of a letter Byron Johnson received from KGEM 58 years ago this April (208). It concerns a talent contest his friend, John Strode, and he won at the then Ada Theater (now Egyptian). They played a four-handed piano version of Pagannini Variations. They were twelve years old. They each received $2.50, a dice football game ("Fireside Football"), which Byron still has, and they were guests on Uncle Don Bish's "kids hour"(?) each afternoon after school for a week. Thank you, Byron, for submitting this.
